Air sample being collected from inside wall cavity to detect hidden mold behind drywall in a home

Wall Cavity Air Testing

What It Is

Wall cavity air testing allows us to check for mold inside walls without unnecessary demolition.

By sampling the air from inside the wall, we can determine whether mold spores are present—even if there are no visible signs on the surface.

Why It Matters

Mold frequently develops behind drywall due to hidden moisture from leaks, humidity, or past water damage.

Without testing, these issues can go undetected while continuing to affect indoor air quality.

When This Is Recommended

  • Musty odors coming from walls or specific rooms

  • Past or suspected water damage

  • Staining, bubbling, or discoloration on drywall

  • Symptoms that don’t match visible conditions

What You Get

You receive clear, lab-backed results that help determine whether hidden mold is present and whether further action is needed.

If conditions suggest hidden mold may be present, wall cavity air sampling can be performed. Sampling is optional and billed per sample. Visual inspection with a borescope may also be used to confirm growth.
